Full Aid-to-Navigation Functionality
The Nauticast AtoN2-3 offers full Aid-to-Navigation functionality in compliance with IEC 62320-2 Ed. 2 for maritime shipping and also with the latest draft paper on AtoN use in EU Inland shipping (draft version 1.2). It transmits all standard AtoN messages on 2 channels in configurable mode. Encrypted communication for VDL configuration and transmission of sensor data are supported. For floating AtoNs off-position monitoring is available. Various energy saving features can be configured.
It is available as board only or with various casing alternatives. External sensors can either be connected via serial interfaces or an additional sensor board.
Powerful App
The Nauticast AtoN2-3 is supported by a powerful Windows application Link2AIS. It facilitates device configuration with pre-configurable setting templates.
In connection with a base-station or a land-based Nauticast AtoN2-3 (or other AIS capable of transmitting the encrypted VDL configuration according to IEC 62320-2 Ed. 2) remote AtoNs may be configured and monitored. Configurations may be relayed over predefined chains.
Link2AIS offers to view AIS data in list format and as a chart overlay with various maps. All communication data can also be logged.
