Lambda Marine receives multiple orders for the highly specialized Actisense EMU-1 NMEA2000 Engine Monitoring Interface UnitLambda Marine, a maritime ICT system integrator based in the UAE, recently received multiple orders from around the Gulf for the Actisense EMU-1 NMEA2000 Engine Monitoring Interface Unit. Vessels installing the EMU-1 range from traditional UAE Dhows, to yachts and superyachts based in the UAE, Bahrain and other Gulf countries. The EMU-1 is a NMEA 2000 Gateway which converts data from analogue engine senders into digital NMEA2000 data. The EMU-1 when connected to a NMEA2000 bus, enables 3rd party NMEA2000 display devices such as plotters, radars, ECS etc. also connected to the NMEA2000 network, to monitor the engine on any vessel. The unit features 6 gauge inputs*, 4 alarm inputs** and 2 tacho inputs*** and offers dual engine support. Installation is consisting of simple single-wire gauge connections; with a common ground referenced design. Firmware and configuration can be modified remotely over the NMEA 2000 network to suit different installations using an Actisense NGT-1 to connect a 3rd party PC or laptop fitted with Actisense software. With waterproof electronics and splash-proof connections, pluggable connectors for quick and easy installation and an optional DIN rail mounting kit available, it is a versatile and increasingly popular system.** e.g. Check Engine, Over Temperature, Low Oil Pressure, Low Oil Level, Low Fuel Pressure, Low System Voltage, Low Coolant Level, Water Flow, Water In Fuel, Charge Indicator, Preheat Indicator, High Boost Pressure, Rev Limit Exceeded, EGR System, Throttle Position Sensor, Engine Emergency Stop Mode, Warning Level 1, Warning Level 2, Power Reduction, Maintenance Needed, Eng Comm Error, Sub or Secondary Throttle, Neutral Start Protect, Engine Shutting Down, Check Transmission, Transmission Over Temperature, Transmission Low Oil Pressure, Transmission Low Oil Level, Transmission Sail Drive *** e.g. Engine Speed, RPM |
