The Cortex H1P Portable Handset is the voice and calling interface for VHF, DSC calls and to view AIS targets. The handset’s touchscreen display is the primary interface together with dedicated buttons and the Click-Wheel for swift navigation, ease of operation and single-handed use.
The touchscreen is purpose-built for the harsh marine environment and is designed and manufactured for use in wet conditions and with gloves.
The handset provides a screen to set up and manage the Cortex M1 hub, view AIS target data and vessel instrumentation, manage and monitor alarms and configure the remote vessel monitoring.
Upgrade your Cortex V1 VHF/M1 SOTDMA smartAIS and add additional handsets for access to key functions in more places on board up to a maximum of 10 in total including any H1 Tethered Handset. Have situational awareness and VHF communication at your fingertips, no matter where you are on your boat.
Includes an H1P Charging Cradle and non-powered H1 cradle.
The H1P features an intuitive color touchscreen engineered for durability in the harsh marine environment. Totally up to 5 H1P handsets can be connected via the built-in Cortex Wifi network including the Cortex H1 Wifi Tethered handsets. By using your onboard Wifi Boat Network, if available, and by downloading the Cortex On-Board App, connect up to 5 additional Cortex H1P handsets and/or Smartphones and/or Tablets to your Cortex V1. Save installation space at your boats console. With Cortex you are no longer bound to operate your VHF from one location!

Enjoy the freedom to move around with your Cortex H1P wireless portable handset to connect to your Cortex V1 25W VHF system from anywhere on your boat. The H1P gives you audio that's as loud as a train at 85dB but clear as a bell. Its IPx7 waterproof and allows for single-handed operation engineered to work even with wet hands or gloves using its 4-inch color sunlight readable Gorilla glass touchscreen, with zoom functionality and its unique clickwheel. It can be viewed even with polarized sunglasses!
Single Touch DSC!
Initiate One-touch direct DSC calls (VHF DSC Class-D) with other vessels by simply tapping the vessel on your handset touchscreen. Push to talk to quickly hail another vessel when every second counts. A built-in heading sensor tells other vessels your direction, helping them more accurately predict potential collisions. The integrated built-in GPS receiver displays your position at all times.

Cortex H1P shows you info from built-in sensors, external sensor inputs and NMEA 2000 via onboard Wifi.
