The H1P gives you audio that's as loud as a train at 85dB but clear as a bell. Its IPx7 waterproof and allows for single-handed operation engineered to work even with wet hands or gloves using its 4-inch color sunlight readable Gorilla glass touchscreen, with zoom functionality and its unique clickwheel. It can be viewed even with polarized sunglasses!
The power of VHF and AIS combined
Cortex is the world’s first VHF with high speed SOTDMA AIS Class-B transponder technology, making your boat visible to others. A built-in heading sensor tells other vessels your direction, helping them more accurately predict potential collisions. See critical information about vessels, AIS Aids to Navigation (AtoN) and man overboard devices (MOB) on your MFD, mobile or Cortex handset. Vesper Marine smartAIS proactively alerts you of potential collisions, anchor drag and man overboard situations increasing your safety. Using the latest SOTDMA AIS technology with 5W power output, your boat is visible over a longer distance. With faster and more frequent transmissions of your position to other vessels, you'll be safer, especially at speeds over 14 knots.
Cortex continuously calculates collision risk and warns you with voice
annunciated alerts. View crossing situations, navigation light sectors and perform trial maneuvers while talking on the VHF radio. Initiate One-touch direct DSC calls (VHF DSC Class-D) with other vessels by simply tapping the vessel on your handset touchscreen. Push to talk to quickly hail another vessel when every second counts. A built-in heading sensor tells other vessels your direction, helping them more accurately predict potential collisions. The integrated built-in GPS receiver displays your position at all times.Monitor Onboard Sensors
Cortex combines built-in sensors, external sensor inputs and NMEA 2000 connectivity with free basic monitoring via onboard Wifi.
