MOB Alarm Only  Safety System, a low cost alternative for an automatic man overboard  locating system. Including GPS plot. Consisting of 1 × Crewguard CG-121 MKII MOB Alarm Base Unit pre-wired to CREWFIX NMEA box (for GPS plot), 1 × External Antenna with bracket & 5m of cable, 1 × AU9 (LIVE 121.5MHz). When a person wearing a AU9 Personal Alert Unit (also called Personal Locator Beacon - PLB) falls overboard, the Alarm Unit picks up its signal and automatically activates a MOB alarm whilst simultaneously plotting the position of the vessel using the on-board NMEA connected GPS unit (GPS not included). The Base Unit will show signal strength to the missing person. Crew can easily steer back to the GPS plot MOB location and find and recover the missing person(s).
