How does the VL-BNWAS work?
The BNWAS monitors the presence, awareness and activity of the Officer of the Watch (OOW) on the bridge and detects his absence and/or inability on the bridge that could lead to shipping accidents due to unavailability or incapacity of the OOW in performing his duties.
