Iridium Satellite PTT Subscription Plans
Iridium Satellite Plans are available in various types and sizes.
Plan Types
There are 2 types of Iridium Plans; a) Global Plans and b) Middle East Plans. Global Plans do not work in the Middle East and vice versa.

Radio & Talkgroup Subscription Fees
Each type of Plan consists of a) Radio Fees per number of radios subscribed to the Plan and b) TalkGroup Fees per number of Talkgroups subsribed to (max. 15).
Talkgroup Sizes
Talk Groups are available in different sizes depending on the Coverage Area the Talkgroup needs to communicate in.

- Global Coverage Areas can be positioned anywhere in the world outside of the Middle East for Global Plans.

Middle East Coverage Areas can be positioned anywhere in the Middle East for Middle East Plans.

Instead of a circle, the Coverage Area can also be shaped rectangular or square.
- Instead of 1 circle or rectangle/square, a Coverage Area can also be divided into maximum 10 circles or squares (except for Small Plans which have a maximum of 5), totally not exceeding the square kilometers of the respective Plan (e.g. 2 x 50,000sq.km for a Small Plan or 3 x 100,0000sq.km for a Medium Plan etc.)
